Naomi has won a Matilda Award for Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her performance as Fay in Ladies in Black, a new Australian musical written by Carolyn Burns (North by Northwest), composed by Tim Finn (Split Enz, Crowded House) and directed by Simon Phillips (Love Never Dies, Priscilla Queen of the Desert).

Naomi accepted her award on Monday 29 February 2016 at the official Matilda Awards ceremony at Gardens Point Theatre, Brisbane. In her acceptance speech, she praised the entire team who worked on the highly successful Queensland Theatre Company and Melbourne Theatre Company production.

“I was lucky enough to go to work every day with ten extraordinary actors. Ladies in Black is very much an ensemble piece and this award belongs in equal parts to each of you,” she said.
